FAQ

In order to monitor resources on your server, you will need to install an agent on it. This is a very small executable and should not cause any issues on your server. If you want to monitor network services such as SIP or HTTP(S) you will need to allow the monitoring sites you select to connect via your firewall. You can find those IPs here.
Sadly, no. As much as we’d love to take credit for it, the good folks at Monitis (a Teamviewer Company) made this. We’ve tailored the service a bit to the needs of our customers and offer it at a bit of a savings. If you need help, contact us at support@freepbxhosting.com.
We will always support your desire to buy more stuff from us. Simply order another package and we will add it to your account. Once you move your monitors to the new package, you can cancel the old one, or keep it if you need lots and lots of monitors!
First, no amount of servers is ridiculous. Second, you can combine multiple packages to form one gigantic monster megapackage. If that doesn’t work for you, we are happy to build a custom package for you, contact us at sales@freepbxhosting.com.

Orders are provisioned during business hours, typically within 24 hours. Once your account is setup, you can log in and start configuring your monitoring environment. If you need help setting this up, we can help, simply email support@freepbxhosting.com for a setup quote.
The monitoring agent is very lightweight and should not have any significant effect on your server. That being said, the majority of the services we provide are unmanaged, meaning we don’t know what crazy shenanigans you’ve got going on. So a tiny agent we’ve tested and found to work well may invoke holy heck on your server, and if so we’re sorry. You can completely remove it using these instructions.
